I am a singer-songwriter, and I am also a "Liedermacher" who writes lyrics in German. 

My music and my lyrics are personal and honest, emotional, yet also profound. 

I mostly sing in English. But I also love the expressive richness of the German language.

In that sense, I am also a "Liedermacher" from the Rhineland, who, in ‘Maach’ et joot’

on the album ‘Singing Strings’, draws on the vibrancy and unifying power of the

Cologne dialect for his lyrics. 

Cologne has become my home.
